Miguel Rodríguez Artacho, guest editor of an Future Internet's Special Issue

Miguel Rodríguez Artacho, member of the eMadrid network, professor at UNED and member of the G-eLios group (Research Group in Electrical Engineering and Advanced Technologies in Education, Electronics, Control, Computers, Renewable Energies, Sustainability, Mobility and Communications), will be the guest editor of the special issue of the magazine 'Future Internet': "New challenges for e-learning and digital education".

The aim of the publication is to collect the most recent innovations in the field of IT-based learning and educational technologies and show how research has been used in this new digital education, born in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The intention is to bring together researchers to discuss new ideas, recent results, and especially current and future challenges in digital education. As potential topics, some are mentioned such as learning environments, virtual and augmented reality, data mining, learning analytics or e-learning and automatic assessment tools.

The deadline for papers is June 30, 2021 and submission is made through the MDPI (Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute) website. You have more details about it in this link.

Future Internet (ISSN 1999-5903) is a peer-reviewed open access academic journal on Internet technologies and the information society, published monthly online by MDPI.
