Ada Lovelace Seminar, UAM
The series of "Ada Lovelace Seminar [EPS-UAM]" is an initiative of the Polytechnic School of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, which aims to raise awareness of the contributions of female researchers in Information Technology and Communications (ICT).
This year, to mark the bicentenary of Ada Byron Lovelace, regarded as the first programmer in history, we hold a symposium in her honor, in which both her role in the history of computing and her current relevance as a scientific, technologist and maker will be addressed.
