Philipp Schmidt  Philipp Schmidt is Director of Learning Innovation at the MIT Media Lab, where he leads the ML Learning initiative, teaches courses, and conducts research on learning communities. He is also a cofounder and board member of Peer 2 Peer University (P2PU), a non-profit organization that provides access to online higher education through public libraries. Philipp served on the founding board of the OpenCourseWare Consortium and co-authored the Cape Town Open Education Declaration. He has received Shuttleworth and Ashoka and MIT Media Lab Director's fellowships.

Elisa Martín Garijo  Elisa Martín Garijo is director of Technology and Innovation IBM Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel. Certified as a Senior Architect of Information Systems has the position of Distinguished Engineer and a member of the leadership team of the IBM Academy of Technology. As director of the areas of technology and innovation, its main objective is to stimulate the adoption of smart solutions in Spanish companies and institutions that use technology and innovation as drivers of competitiveness. In this paper, its mission is the transfer of innovative experiences in the area of technology to the companies and society, adding value by connecting customers with IBM Research. In recent years it has been linked to smart cities projects in Madrid, Malaga, in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona and the University of Cantabria.She is Member of the Board Manager Technology Center of Supercomputing, a research initiative between IBM and the National Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) located in Barcelona and the management team of the Department of Large Systems and Supercomputing created by IBM and Autonomous University of Madrid. As a specialist in systems of large companies, web architectures and application integration,Elisa Martin has participated in the design and implementation of multichannel solutions, Enterprise Architecture and specific systems of development. Previously, he led teams of architecture and technology consulting services IBM Spain. As chief architect, he developed and successfully integrated application system for the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000. He has extensive experience and leadership in the fields of innovation, technology, data management and IT infrastructure, management systems and application development. Elisa participates in research studies internationally and nationally. She holds two patents and has written several collaborations and studies on products and technical processes. As an executive, she is responsible for maintaining the excellence and vitality of the technical community of your organization and the value provided by IBM in generating innovation for customers and society support. She has a degree in mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid and has over 30 years experience in the sector.

Francisco José García Peñalvo  Francisco José García Peñalvo is Associate Professor (credited to University Professor), Department of Computer Science and Control in University of Salamanca (USAL), with 2 six-year of researching and 3 five-year of teaching recognized. Since 2006 he is the director of the Research Group Recognized by USAL (and Excellence Group of Castile and Leon) GRIAL (research group InterAction and eLearning). He is director of the Consolidated Research Unit of the Junta de Castilla y Leon (UIC 81). He has been Vice Dean of Innovation and New Technology Faculty of the University of Salamanca between 2004 and 2007 and Vice Chancellor of Technological Innovation of the University between 2007 and 2009, a period in which implemented the Virtual Campus, the Institutional Repository and Repository Scopeo, among other milestones related to innovation. He has been the principal investigator of 13 teaching innovation projects (5 regional and 8 local) and has participated in other 26 (3 Europeans, 4 national, 3 regional and 16 local). He has an active participation in educational innovation related conferences, to highlight just a few of the most relevant, it should be mentioned that he is the president of Congress for Enhancing Technological Ecosystems multiculturality (TEEM), coordinator of the Editorial Committee of the International Conference on Learning, Innovation and competitiveness (CINAIC) and member of the Steering Committee of the International Symposium on Computer Education (SIIE). He has edited special issues in multiple national and international journals indexed in the major benchmarks and is the scientific editor of Education in the Knowledge Society (EKS) and journal Journal of Information Technology Research (JITR). He is currently the Coordinator of the PhD Program in Education in the Knowledge Society of the University of Salamanca, having directed 12 doctoral theses.

Andreia Inamorato dos Santos  Andreia Inamorato dos Santos is researcher at the Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS) of the European Commission. His research interests are strategies open education in European universities, recognition and validation of non-formal learning and the development of open education policies in European Member States. In the area of OpenEdu Project IPTS-DG EAC (Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Commission), has co-developed a framework to support European universities for the strategic implementation of open education. She holds a PhD in Educational Technology at the Open University in the UK, where he has also been a researcher at the OpenLearn project, a pioneer in open educational resources (OER) in Europe (2006-2009), as well as the OLnet project (2010-2011) . She was a founder and consultant DigiLearn in Brazil (2011-2013) where he has advised Brazilian universities, businesses and governments in the field of open education. In this period he published a national report on REA in Brasil for UNESCO (2011). He is honorary national coordinator of open education in the Brazilian Association of Distance Education (ABED).

Sara Osuna Acedo  Sara Osuna Acedo has a PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences by UNED since 2004.She is a professor of Communication and Education at UNED and a specialist in digital technologies, education and communication models and virtual teaching. Her research interests are MOOCs, media convergence, digital scenarios, disability, digital learning and social networking.She is currently coordinator of the European project "(ECO) Elearning, Communication and Open-data: Mobile, Ubiquitous Learning Massive" and where participates 23 partners from nine different European countries. From the academic year 2013/14 also takes the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Continuing Education.

María Fernández Raga  María Fernández Raga has a degree in Enviromental Sciences and a degree in Forest Engineering. She did her PhD in Applied Phsisycs at the University of León,and she has 10 years of experience as a professor in University of León and 5 years as a professor tutor in UNED. Beatriz Sedano Cuevas  Beatriz Serrano Cuevas has a degree in Hispanic Philology with a Master in Applied Linguistics Teaching Spanish to foreigners. ELE teacher for 10 years, is currently doing his doctoral thesis in the PhD program of ICT in Education and Language Processing UNED.
