HP and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos inaugurate a classroom dedicated to training and innovation in virtual reality and augmented reality

The Rey Juan Carlos University and the company HP in collaboration with SPika Tech have signed an agreement for the creation of an HP virtual real classroom where future professionals specialized in virtual reality and augmented reality will be formed in the campus of Móstoles (Madrid) .

This initiative will make it possible to complete the practical training of the students of the URJC, in particular those who study in the field of engineering, experimental sciences, computer science and communication technologies..

Call for papers EC-TEL 2017

The European Conference on Technology-Enhanced Learning (EC-TEL) engages researchers, practitioners, educational developers, entrepreneurs and policy makers to address current challenges and advances in the field.

red.es-UC3M Workshop on Digital Training with Open Technology

eMadrid in L@S y LAK

During 25 and 26 April, the third annual ACM conference on "Learning at scale" took place at the University of Edinburgh. In parallel and at the same university, the sixth international conference on analytical learning, "Learning Analytics & Knowledge" took place from 25 to 29 April, which seeks to analyze educational data in order to improve the learning process. This conference aimed at promoting scientific exchange of interdisciplinary research at the intersection of the learning sciences and information technology. Inspired by the advent of MOOCs and the enormous change that accompanies reflection on education, this conference was created by ACM as a new academic center for the presentation of high quality research on how learning and teaching can change and improve when done to scale.

UC3M in the MOOC-Maker and SHEILA of Erasmus + projects

Call for contributions VI eMadrid Workshop


The eMadrid Program, who is dedicated to R&D on educational technology in the Region of Madrid and funded by General Directorate of Universities and  Research of the Ministry of Education of the Region of Madrid in the context of the call for R & D Programs Technologies 2013, it requests contributions of academic and educational experiences, specially those who can considerate itself as a disruptive (in its broadest sense of the word).

The catchword of the workshop this year is “Unbundling Education”. With this, we want to say that it is taking place many initiatives that, in some way, breaks down the educative package as we know today and It weans of some parameters which take for granted. Such are for higher education: age range (from 18 years), duration of the studies(4 years for a degree), curriculums with little customization, indivisibility of subjects, how they teach, schedules, academic calendar (beginning in September), evaluation, certification(included at the end). What parameter can be flexible? Are there another academic packages more flexible?
