Luis Pablo Prieto (UVA) and Silvia Tamayo (URJC), Winners of the eMadrid 2013 Awards

Next June 13th, during the celebration of the IV eMadrid Workshop, the eMadrid 2013 Awards will be delivered. In this occasion the winners have been Luis Pablo Prieto (Universidad de Valladolid, UVA), who will receive the award to his Doctoral Thesis, and Silvia Tamayo (URJC), who will receive the prize to the best final master work. Both will have the chance to show their works the second day of the eMadrid Workshop.

The full list of the awards winners and the titles of the works are as follows:

eMadrid 2013 Award to the Best Doctoral Thesis

Winner:

  • Luis Pablo Prieto Santos (UVA), for the work titled "Supporting Orchestration of Blended CSCL Scenarios in Distributed Learning Environments".

Honorable Mention:

  • Carlos Alario Hoyos (UVA-UC3M), for the work titled "GLUE!: An Architecture for the Integration of External Tools in Virtual Learning Environments".

eMadrid 2013 Award to the Best End of Degree Work or Master Work

Winner:

  • Silvia Tamayo Moreno (URJC), for the work titled "Propuesta de desarrollo centrado en el usuario de un agente conversacional pedagógico para la comprensión lectora de ejercicios de matemática a nivel escolar".

Honorable Mention:

  • Daniel J. Sanz Candilejo, Mariam Saucedo Alonso and Pilar Torralbo Fernández (UCM), for the work titled "Recycla.me: Aplicación móvil Android para enseñar a reciclar a niños de 7 a 11 años".
