eMadrid network members (UCM) winners of the IX Novática Award

Baltasar Fernández-Manjón, Pablo Moreno-Ger, Ivan Martínez-Ortiz y Manuel Freire, members of the e-UCM group from Computer Science Faculty at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, have received the IX Novática Award for their paper "Retos de los juegos educativos", which was published in the Novática monographic "Juegos serios: Aprender jugando" in the number 230 (October-December 2014).

 

The main challenges to be addressed in educational games for a widespread use are described in the paper. These challenges fall into three main dimensions, socio-cultural, educational and technological, also considering possible measures to address them.

The prize, consisting of a diploma, will be awarded during a ceremony whose date is to be announced.
