RAGE: Building a Learning Analytics Infrastructure for Serious Games
We present the design of the Learning Analytics platform that the e-UCM group is developing for the RAGE H2020 project. This platform is designed to be easily deployable, scalable to large datasets and user-base, and extensible with new types of components and analyses.
Manuel Freire has a PhD in Computer Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). His research interests are centered on information visualization, human-computer interaction, online learning and serious games. In 2008, he worked one year at the University of Maryland's HCIL, under a postdoctoral Fulbright grant. In 2010, he became a member of the e-UCM research group at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), where he is an Associate Professor since 2013.
