Next September 16th, eMadrid project members will be held the second Workshop on Software Engineering in elearning (ISELEAR'11) at the Faculty of Informatics, University Complutense of Madrid. This new edition maintains the goals set for the first successful edition of the workshop, ISELEAR10: to bring together researchers and software development experts in the field of e-Learning to present, compare and discuss the latest trends in the conception, design, development, deployment and maintenance of eLearning systems.
Thus, the emphasis of the workshop will be on the technological aspects of such developments, with emphasis on how systems are built, what processes, methods, techniques and tools have been used in such construction, what strategies for managing multidisciplinary development teams have been used, what lessons have been learned, etc. This workshop complements the views of other specialized forums about e-learning or educational computing, where the educational component prevails often over the technological aspects related to building software.
