Contribution from eMadrid to the Open Education Week (5-10 March 2012)
The aim of the eMadrid network is to do research about enhancing education with technology. Among the several lines of the research agenda is the application of open philosophies to education from several points of view, namely the use of open source educational software, the creation, use, and discovery of open educational resources, and the application of methodologies coming from open source communities to education.
The result of the research carried out is presented in monthly seminars that are recorded and published with a Creative Commons license. A selection of those devoted to open source software and open educational resources can be found here:
