Summary

This talk will present a recommendation system called CoMoLE ("Context-based Adaptive Mobile Learning Environments") that is responsible for selecting appropriate educational activities based on personal characteristics of students, the actions they take while interacting with system and the current context in which they occur. These educational activities can be undertaken by students through a Web browser by using different devices such as PDAs, personal computers or laptops. In addition, the results will be presented on experiences in different subjects of Computer Science at the Autonomous University of Madrid with the impressions of students using this system.

Estefanía Martín Barroso (URJC)Estefania Martin Barroso is Associate Professor in the Department of Software and Systems I at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid. His research interests are adaptive hypermedia, collaborative learning and mobile learning.
