Summary

Mobile devices enable learning anytime, anywhere. Today, thanks to the capacity to interact with smart objects embedded in the environment, they also enable learning of any object. This paper presents the learning environments in a web of objects and show different possibilities that are enabled from the point of vita cognitive and metacognitive. Specific scenarios are described and analyzed the possible impacts that technology brings learning and awareness of adult learning.

Author Biography

Mario Múñoz Organero (UC3M) Mario Muñoz Organero, doctor telecommunications engineer, is professor of the Department of Telematics Engineering, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He is currently deputy director of general affairs of the department and faculty of the university. In the past 5 years has developed lines of research on mobile device application areas such as education or technology-assisted intelligent environments. It has also developed a line of research on service-oriented architecture and standards-based tele-education systems open and distributed.
