The eMadrid Network Is Among the SBC 2012 Sponsors

Madrid is going to host the eighth edition of the SBC (Students Branches Congress 2012) the period from 25th to 29th July. This biannual conference is organized by the IEEE and works as a meeting point for young engineers and students from several universities in Europe, Middle East and Africa. During this event they will all have the opportunity to attend conferences and workshops and to establish contact with companies of the sector. The eMadrid Network is among the sponsors of this event.

According to the congress’ website, it is expected that over 400 people will come at the end of July to this event in Madrid. The SBC, which held its first edition in 1998 in Istanbul (Turkey), aims "to help engineering students, PhD. students and young professionals gain further insight, enabling exchange of knowledge and skills”. In addition to this, "the plenary sessions and workshops in this congress will not only put their focus on research and technological developments, but also career issues and the importance of developing the so-called soft skills”.
